Alex S. developed a high-availability Redis deployment for the akeylesslabs/helm-charts repository by migrating from the Bitnami Redis chart to a Redis-HA fork. This work involved updating Chart.yaml to reference the new redis-ha chart and repository, as well as creating Helm templates, helpers, and values to support robust Redis HA deployments on Kubernetes. Using YAML and shell scripting, Alex enabled end-to-end readiness for Redis Sentinel-based clusters, reducing single points of failure and improving production resilience. The project delivered a foundational feature that supports reliable, scalable Redis-backed workloads, demonstrating depth in Helm chart engineering and high-availability infrastructure design.

October 2025: Delivered a pivotal feature to enable Redis high-availability in the helm-charts repository by migrating from Bitnami Redis to the Redis-HA fork. This included Chart.yaml updates referencing the redis-ha chart/repository and the creation of templates, helpers, and values to support Redis HA deployments, enabling more resilient deployments and safer production rollouts.
