Worked on modernizing dependency management for the cloudquery/cloudquery repository, focusing on enhancing the CloudQuery CLI’s compatibility with the evolving Docker ecosystem. Upgraded Docker-related dependencies, including plugin-pb-go and core Docker modules, and incorporated opencontainers/image-spec and containerd/errdefs to address compatibility issues with newer Docker versions. Leveraged Go and Go Modules to ensure seamless integration and future-proofing of the CLI against upstream changes. The approach emphasized traceability by linking updates to a specific commit, improving both stability and maintainability. This work strengthened the project’s dependency management practices and broadened the CLI’s compatibility surface within containerized environments.
