Developed the initial groundwork for an event creation feature in the ctc-uci/Center-Stage repository, focusing on establishing a user-facing event creation flow. The work centered on building core UI scaffolding using React with JSX and JavaScript, including the creation of forms/createEvent.jsx and a modular forms directory. This approach laid a reusable infrastructure for future enhancements such as form validation, state management, and backend integration. The implementation emphasized clear component organization and maintainable folder structures, supporting streamlined onboarding for event creation. Throughout the process, clean commit practices were maintained, ensuring clarity and traceability in the project’s early development phase.
