During September 2025, Saxo Folatre focused on maintaining the sunnypilot/opendbc repository, specifically targeting code quality and long-term maintainability. Saxo identified and removed a stale BRAKE_POSITION comment from the toyota_new_mc_pt.dbc file, ensuring that outdated inline documentation would not cause confusion for future contributors. This work, while not introducing functional changes, improved the clarity and maintainability of the DBC codebase. Saxo applied expertise in CAN Bus protocols and embedded systems to ensure the database remained accurate and easy to integrate. The contribution demonstrated careful attention to code hygiene, supporting future development and integration efforts within the embedded automotive domain.
