Contributed to the SPAAM-community/AncientMetagenomeDir repository by delivering two data management features focused on expanding metagenomic metadata coverage. The work involved updating JSON-based configuration files to add new material options and introducing Mammuthus trogontherii as a sample host, aligning with the Guinet2025 data refresh. These enhancements improved the completeness and discoverability of metadata, supporting broader downstream analyses. All changes were fully traceable through repository commits, ensuring auditability and transparency. The technical approach centered on precise data modeling and schema updates, leveraging skills in data management and JSON to maintain consistency and reliability across the project’s evolving datasets.
