Focused on data curation and management, the work involved appending new sample and library entries using TSV format, ensuring accurate and consistent data representation. Addressed challenges with Excel compatibility by normalizing date fields to the nearest century, which reduced the risk of unintended data edits during spreadsheet use. Emphasized traceable commits and reliable data entry practices, enhancing downstream analysis reliability. The approach demonstrated attention to detail in data normalization and practical problem-solving in managing tabular scientific datasets.
