Worked on the iggy-rs/iggy repository to enhance deployment stability and configuration flexibility for Kubernetes-based environments. Focused on backend development and DevOps, the work involved fixing UI ingress routing by correcting service definitions within Helm charts, ensuring that user requests were reliably directed to the intended backend service. Addressed configuration management challenges by enabling dynamic environment variable overrides for S3 and disk archivers, allowing deployments to adapt seamlessly across different environments. Utilized Rust and YAML to refine configuration structures, reducing manual intervention and deployment risk. These improvements contributed to more reliable, maintainable, and adaptable cloud-native application operations within the project.
