Over a two-month period, contributed targeted enhancements to the key4hep/k4geo repository, focusing on both workflow and visualization improvements. Developed an enhanced pull request template with a comprehensive reviewer checklist, embedding checks for detector geometry changes in C++ and XML to prevent overlaps and free parameters. This approach standardized code reviews, improved documentation practices, and ensured testing alignment with code modifications. Additionally, implemented the ALLEGRO ECAL Visualization Enhancement using DD4hep and C++, assigning distinct visual attributes to geometry components. These changes improved geometry clarity, reduced review time, and facilitated faster onboarding for contributors working with detector geometry and documentation.
