Worked on the UAVGCSTeam/GCS repository to deliver two targeted UI enhancements for the DroneTrackingPanel, focusing on improving operator experience and reducing interface ambiguity. Leveraging QML and JavaScript, implemented dynamic background and cursor changes to provide clear visual feedback during hover and selection, introducing new color constants for consistent state representation. Enhanced selection logic by initializing with no drones highlighted and enabling deselection through a second click, which also hides the drone status panel for a cleaner interface. These front-end development efforts streamlined drone status tracking, improved accessibility, and established maintainable UI state management patterns for future feature iteration and scalability.
