During April 2025, Corcton focused on stabilizing the Shopping Cart UI in the nextui-org/nextui repository by addressing a shadow rendering issue affecting rounded corners. Using CSS and TypeScript, Corcton delivered a targeted bug fix that improved the visual consistency of the cart component across different browsers and environments. The solution aligned with the existing design system and enhanced the overall user experience by reducing UI-related support questions. While the work did not involve new feature development, Corcton demonstrated attention to detail in front-end development and UI/UX, ensuring code quality and maintaining stability within the project’s codebase.
