
Developed and stabilized the Lunar Lander 2025 prototype in the johnklima/LunarLander2025 repository, delivering twelve features and resolving three bugs over two months. Focused on robust architecture and rapid asset integration, the work included implementing core gameplay systems such as thrust, gravity, and fuel mechanics using C# and Unity. Enhanced visual fidelity with new VFX assets and improved camera controls, while integrating FMOD for audio foundations. Refactored assets into reusable prefabs and centralized game state management through a GameManager script. Addressed build stability by cleaning up plugin dependencies, improving onboarding, and ensuring maintainable project organization with version control and configuration management.

January 2025 (2025-01) delivered a cohesive Lunar Lander 2025 prototype focused on robust architecture, physics fidelity, and rapid asset integration to enable iterative development and clear business value. Key work included scene configuration and UI flow improvements with build settings, a centralized GameManager for reliable state coordination, and core gameplay systems (thrust, gravity, atmosphere, and fuel behavior). Level 1 foundations were strengthened with new level setup and enhanced camera controls. Asset integration (Substance3D for Unity, Polybrush) and refactoring of lander/planet assets into reusable prefabs support rapid iteration and reuse. Project scaffolding updates (gitignore and bootstrap scripts) improve onboarding and CI readiness. These changes reduce cycle time for feature delivery and establish a solid baseline for future work.
