
Worked on the proudnhello/CMPM171Project repository to deliver gameplay enhancements centered on player progression and control ergonomics. Developed an achievements system that tracks player milestones and integrates cosmetic rewards, applying new materials through Unity’s asset management. Introduced a cursor-based movement control scheme using C# scripting and Unity’s input system, allowing players to move toward the cursor with a configurable toggle that can replace traditional WASD controls. Addressed system stability by fixing bugs related to dash and charge mechanics, ensuring correct velocity resets and preventing infinite dashing. The work emphasized reliability and engagement, leveraging Unity Engine and UI development best practices.
