Worked on the IBM/cloud-pak-deployer repository to enhance deployment reliability by addressing a critical bug related to NFD Operator image version selection. Focused on aligning the operator’s image versioning logic with OpenShift Container Platform releases, this effort reduced the risk of image-version mismatches on newer OpenShift clusters. The solution involved updating configuration management scripts using Jinja and applying infrastructure as code principles to ensure consistent deployments. Changes were validated against OpenShift 4.x environments, and comprehensive documentation was added to support future maintenance. This work improved stability for OpenShift deployments and established a foundation for ongoing compatibility enhancements in the codebase.
