Worked on enhancing deployment flexibility and governance for Kubernetes environments by delivering a new feature to the pegasystems/pega-helm-charts repository. Focused on DevOps practices and Helm Charts, the work introduced dynamic installer job labeling within the Pega Helm template. This approach allowed users to override and compose custom job labels at deployment time using the generatedInstallerJobLabels mechanism, improving organization and management of Kubernetes installer jobs. The implementation leveraged Helm templating to enable more granular control over job metadata, addressing the need for better deployment customization and job tracking. The work demonstrated depth in Helm and Kubernetes configuration management.
