Worked on the pegasystems/pega-helm-charts repository to deliver two core features enhancing distributed Cassandra deployments. Developed support for Cassandra datacenter configuration, enabling specification of localDatacenter and per-datacenter topology within Helm charts to improve integration and operational flexibility. Implemented persistent DDS metrics logging to file, allowing for enhanced monitoring and debugging through the DDS landing page or prconfigs. These changes focused on improving deploy-time configurability and observability, aligning with platform reliability objectives. Utilized Go, YAML, and Kubernetes to manage configuration and deployment logic, demonstrating depth in configuration management and DevOps practices for cloud-native, distributed systems environments.
