During November 2024, contributed to the maybe-finance/maybe repository by delivering a configurable Synth API endpoint focused on improving deployment flexibility and configuration management. The solution allowed the Synth provider base URL to be set dynamically through the SYNTH_URL environment variable, while maintaining a safe fallback to the previous hardcoded URL. This approach reduced the need for environment-specific code changes and enabled smoother migrations between providers and environments. The work was implemented in Ruby, leveraging configuration management best practices to streamline deployments and minimize configuration errors. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and stable feature delivery.
