Worked on the maybe-finance/maybe repository to enhance the reliability and data integrity of the transfers workflow by delivering a notes-aware update path for transfers. Leveraged Ruby and Ruby on Rails to refactor the TransfersController, ensuring that updates to transfers, including notes, are performed atomically within a single transaction. Introduced helper utilities to streamline status and detail changes, reducing the risk of partial updates and improving auditability. Added automated test coverage to verify note addition, supporting safer concurrent updates and laying the foundation for robust audit trails. Focused on backend development practices to support customer support workflows and data consistency.
