During February 2025, contributed to the maybe-finance/maybe repository by developing a feature that enhanced CSV import functionality to support multiple number formats and currency handling. This work involved updating backend models and user interface components to allow users to specify regional formats, ensuring accurate data parsing across different locales. The implementation included comprehensive unit and integration tests, expanding end-to-end coverage for various formats and edge cases. Utilizing Ruby, SQL, and HTML, the changes improved data integrity and streamlined onboarding for international users by reducing parsing errors and minimizing manual data cleaning during imports, with a focus on backend development and internationalization.
