During October 2025, Budaoguai developed firmware upgrade mapping support for the Svehicle E2 within the mavlink/qgroundcontrol repository. By adding the default board name to the firmware upgrade controller’s mapping, Budaoguai enabled automatic recognition and configuration of the Svehicle E2 during firmware updates. This C++-based enhancement streamlines the update process for embedded systems, reducing manual configuration steps and minimizing the risk of misconfiguration. The work laid a foundation for supporting future Svehicle hardware revisions, demonstrating a methodical approach to firmware development. Over the month, Budaoguai focused on embedded systems and firmware engineering, delivering targeted improvements without addressing bug fixes.
