Developed and integrated the GM77 Barcode Scanning feature for the Protofy-xyz/Protofy repository, focusing on real-time barcode capture and data streaming for inventory and asset tracking workflows. The work involved creating a dedicated GM77 sensor class and component, configuring support for external hardware, and implementing MQTT publishing to enable seamless downstream analytics. A new UI visual node was added to display scanned barcode data within the application. Utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, the implementation established a robust foundation for future sensor integrations. No critical bugs were reported, and minor stability improvements and documentation updates were also completed during this period.
