During June 2025, Laia contributed to the Protofy-xyz/Protofy repository by standardizing the local Node.js binary naming across Linux and macOS environments. She updated the path resolution logic in main.js to consistently reference the binary as 'node', addressing discrepancies that previously caused OS-specific issues. This work, implemented using JavaScript and leveraging her expertise in Node.js and system configuration, improved reliability when accessing the local Node.js binary and enhanced environment consistency for both development and CI workflows. The changes were clearly documented and auditable, supporting easier onboarding and future maintenance. Laia’s focused contribution addressed a targeted, high-impact configuration challenge.
