
Over a three-month period, contributed to the kubernetes-sigs/kueue repository by enhancing both documentation and core scheduling features. Initially focused on improving API documentation accuracy for the whenCanPreempt field, correcting inconsistencies to streamline onboarding and reduce support needs. Subsequently, designed and implemented multi-level topology-aware scheduling, expanding resource allocation capabilities from two to N hierarchical layers within complex data center environments. This work involved Go development, API design, and rigorous testing, including integration and regression tests to ensure reliability. Additional efforts included validation logic and feature gating, supporting scalable, reliable scheduling in distributed systems using Kubernetes and cloud computing technologies.
