During August 2025, Ioana contributed to the github/awesome-copilot repository by developing and integrating a dedicated instruction file that defines Rust coding conventions and best practices. This work leveraged GitHub Copilot, Rust, and Markdown documentation to standardize code generation and improve the quality of Copilot’s Rust suggestions. By establishing a reusable, repository-level pattern for instruction files, Ioana enabled scalable support for future language-specific enhancements. The guidelines reduced code-review churn and increased developer productivity for Rust changes. While the focus was on feature delivery rather than bug fixes, the depth of documentation and automation demonstrated strong technical and process-oriented skills.
