Worked on the RoleModel/optics repository to enhance the reliability and security of the npm publishing process by addressing issues in the GitHub Actions CI/CD workflow. Focused on correcting workflow permissions and refining npm token handling, the work ensured that package deployments align with best practices for permissions and secure token usage. Using YAML to define and update the workflow, the developer applied DevOps and CI/CD expertise to minimize the risk of publish failures caused by misconfigurations. These improvements resulted in a more resilient release pipeline, supporting compliant and dependable npm releases without introducing new features during the reported period.
