Worked on the android/androidify repository to deliver a UX-focused camera zoom experience using Android Development skills with CameraX API and Jetpack Compose. Developed a centralized ZoomState class to manage both animated and scaled zoom levels, enabling smoother and more maintainable camera zoom interactions. Introduced easing animations to the zoom controls, enhancing the natural feel of zoom adjustments for users. Refactored the ZoomState implementation for improved readability and maintainability, and updated related tests to align with the new API. All changes were implemented in Kotlin and Java, with additional attention to unit testing and regression coverage to ensure robust feature delivery.
