Worked on the ReVanced/revanced-patches repository to enhance Spotify’s theming capabilities by expanding accent color coverage across more user interface elements. Focused on maintainability, the developer refactored color handling into a dedicated theming utility, enabling original colors to be systematically replaced with custom theme colors throughout the app. This approach improved visual consistency and readability, particularly through adjustments to background colors. The work laid a foundation for scalable theming, allowing for faster future iterations. The project leveraged Android development skills, reverse engineering techniques, and Smali, with implementation primarily in Java and Kotlin to support robust and flexible theme customization.
