During April 2025, Leo Juguet developed a new feature for the jasmin-lang/jasmin repository, adding a command-line option to the Jasmin compiler that outputs detailed metadata about exported functions in JSON format. He integrated the export-info collection directly into the main compiler pipeline using OCaml, ensuring consistent and accurate metadata across builds. This work involved code generation, command-line interface design, and JSON serialization, enabling downstream tools to analyze function signatures, argument alignment, and target architecture. Leo’s contribution improved the compiler’s observability and facilitated easier integration with external tooling, enhancing debugging and compatibility checks without introducing any new bugs.
