During November 2024, Erdnaxe focused on improving cross-platform build stability in the srid/nixpkgs repository by addressing Android-specific issues in the Libusb1 package. They delivered a targeted patch that excluded Android from udev support, resolving persistent build errors and conflicts unique to Android environments. Using their expertise in build system configuration and the Nix language, Erdnaxe validated the solution by testing builds across both Android and non-Android targets, ensuring no regressions were introduced. They also updated contribution documentation to assist future maintainers. This work reduced downstream build failures and streamlined maintenance for Libusb1 within the nixpkgs ecosystem.
