Worked on improving the xlnt library port within the microsoft/vcpkg repository, focusing on resolving Windows build issues and enhancing cross-platform compatibility. Addressed a critical bug by correcting the portfile to ensure the xlnt source was downloaded properly, which improved reliability for downstream builds on both Windows and other operating systems. Updated the port configuration and incremented the port version to reflect these changes, contributing to more stable and maintainable packaging. Collaborated with other maintainers to ensure code quality and long-term maintainability. Utilized C++, CMake, and JSON to manage dependencies and streamline library management across diverse development environments.
