During July 2025, Mahir Thakkar enhanced the Defender Experts XDR communication guidelines within the MicrosoftDocs/defender-docs repository by delivering targeted documentation updates. Focusing on Markdown and editorial tooling with the Learn Editor, Mahir clarified how experts access user messages and how notifications are delivered, directly addressing user support and escalation workflows. The work involved two version-controlled commits that improved the clarity and consistency of onboarding materials, reducing ambiguity for both experts and users. Although the contribution was documentation-focused and did not involve code changes, it demonstrated a strong command of technical writing and documentation best practices to support product usability.
