Worked on enhancing test coverage reporting for the DataDog/dd-sdk-android and DataDog/dd-sdk-android-gradle-plugin repositories by integrating Datadog coverage uploads alongside existing Codecov solutions. Developed dual coverage pipelines within the CI/CD process, leveraging Shell and YAML to automate uploads and configure path ignores for more accurate analytics. Implemented JaCoCo auto-discovery and a guarded DD_API_KEY mechanism to ensure secure and resilient coverage reporting across multiple test jobs. These improvements provided side-by-side coverage analytics, enabling better visibility and faster feedback for development teams. The work focused on maintainable configuration and robust DevOps practices, with an emphasis on testing and continuous integration.
