Worked on the nl-design-system/rvo repository to deliver a mobile-friendly Checkbox Filter Collapsible State feature, enabling the filter component to start expanded or collapsed based on user context. This enhancement involved updating both CSS and React components, focusing on improving mobile usability and reducing unnecessary scrolling for end users. The implementation supported better alignment with design-system standards and facilitated cross-team collaboration through co-authored commits. By leveraging front-end development skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and UI/UX design, the work improved maintainability and traceability within the codebase, resulting in a more flexible and consistent filter experience across devices without introducing new bug fixes.
