Worked on the nl-design-system/rvo repository to refactor the component library’s build process, focusing on improving CSS import handling for React components. Migrated the build pipeline from SCSS-based imports to direct CSS imports, ensuring more reliable and consistent CSS processing. Optimized the Rollup configuration to streamline asset emission and reduce build times, while updating dependencies to maintain compatibility and address security considerations. Added a changeset to document these changes for downstream consumers, supporting easier adoption and release management. The work primarily involved JavaScript, SCSS, and build tools, emphasizing maintainability and stability without addressing major bug fixes during this period.
