Worked on enhancing the reliability of the USB subsystem in the SunDevilRocketry/mod repository by developing a targeted error handling feature for USB CDC initialization. Introduced a dedicated error code, ERROR_USB_CDC_INIT_ERROR, to explicitly capture and manage initialization failures, which improved both diagnostics and system resilience. The approach focused on strengthening the error-management workflow, enabling faster identification and resolution of USB-related issues. Utilized C programming and embedded systems expertise to lay the foundation for clearer failure modes and future robustness in the subsystem. The work emphasized precise error handling and contributed to more maintainable and reliable embedded software in C environments.
