Worked on the SunDevilRocketry/sdec and mod repositories to establish a robust foundation for embedded systems development, focusing on data integrity and hardware reliability. Delivered project scaffolding and implemented CRC32 checksum utilities in C and Python to enable early detection of data corruption in payloads and configuration presets. Refactored the preset management flow to include structured parsing of sensor metadata, improving maintainability and onboarding. Overhauled the servo motor control system in the mod repository by introducing a ServoID enum and modernized API, enhancing clarity and scalability for microcontroller programming. Prioritized maintainable architecture and reliable hardware interactions throughout the development process.
