The work involved creating empty placeholder configuration files and establishing a directory structure designed for future per-squad configuration, environment-specific overrides, and deployment automation. Leveraging skills in YAML and Git, the developer standardized the repository’s configuration management approach to streamline onboarding and reduce setup time for new squads. Although no bugs were addressed during this period, the groundwork laid supports future automation and consistent environment management, providing a base for more advanced DevOps practices and smoother deployment pipelines as the project evolves.
