Over a two-month period, contributed to the tboulund-dls/HappyHeadlines repository by designing and implementing a profanity management backend. Initially, established comprehensive Markdown documentation outlining the profanity database schema and its intended PostgreSQL storage, providing a clear reference for future development. Subsequently, developed a scalable Profanity Service API using ASP.NET Core and C#, structuring the project with controllers, services, and repository pattern for maintainable data access. Integrated dependency injection to streamline service orchestration and refactored interfaces for consistency. The work enabled robust profanity word management and message sanitization, laying a foundation for safer user-generated content and efficient feature iteration in backend workflows.
