During July 2025, contributed to the cryptomator/cryptomator repository by developing a feature that remembers the last used vault creation directory, streamlining the vault setup process for users. This enhancement involved persisting the previously selected directory within the application’s Settings and integrating the logic into the CreateNewVaultLocationController, reducing the number of navigation steps required during vault creation. The work focused on backend development and file system operations using Java, with attention to improving the user interface experience. No bugs were addressed during this period, and the primary contribution centered on delivering a targeted UX improvement to accelerate onboarding and daily workflows.
