Worked on the flatcar/scripts repository to deliver a Scaleway Linux Console Debugging and Patch, focusing on improving deployment reliability and debugging for Scaleway instances. The solution involved creating a grub.cfg configuration fragment to ensure the linux_console attaches to the correct console port, enhancing observability and operational readiness. This work was implemented using Shell scripting and documented in Markdown, with a changelog entry added to clarify the update. The approach emphasized system configuration best practices on Linux, aligning with ongoing quality improvements for Scaleway support. The contribution consisted of two commits and addressed a targeted feature without introducing bug fixes.
