Worked on the cschuwey/UBS_M1_TEI repository to streamline TEI data processing by focusing on repository hygiene and encoding improvements. Delivered two feature updates: removing obsolete TEI files to reduce clutter and prevent reference conflicts, and enhancing character definitions within Les_Caracteres.xml to improve encoding handling and processing reliability. These changes simplified ongoing maintenance and reduced the risk of conflicting data across XML files. Leveraged skills in XML manipulation, data management, and the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) standard to lay a foundation for more stable TEI data workflows, supporting cleaner downstream pipelines and more robust data processing in future development.
