Worked on stabilizing the Azure OpenAI translator integration within the kaina404/PDFMathTranslate repository, focusing on backend development and API integration using Python. Addressed issues with API version handling and environment variable retrieval during translator initialization, resulting in more reliable startup and reduced runtime errors during translation calls. Standardized the naming of the API version constant to AZURE_OPENAI_API_VERSION, improving maintainability and simplifying future upgrades. The work centralized configuration logic and ensured consistent usage of environment variables, laying a foundation for smoother production deployments and easier API version updates. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature stability.
