During March 2025, Kaina contributed to the kaina404/PDFMathTranslate repository by enhancing the reliability and user experience of its OpenAI-powered translation feature. She implemented a robust retry mechanism in Python, increasing the retry limit for translation requests from three to one hundred attempts to better handle API rate limiting. This adjustment improved the resilience of the translation workflow under heavy usage.
