Worked on the dotnet/yarp repository to deliver reliability and diagnostics enhancements for the HttpSysDelegator component. Focused on backend development and system programming using C# and .NET, the work introduced enhanced logging, consolidated retry mechanisms, and robust error handling for disposed or non-existent delegation queues. Unique queue state identifiers were added to improve observability and traceability, enabling faster root-cause analysis and troubleshooting. The approach emphasized maintainability by refining instrumentation and consolidating retry strategies. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the feature improved queue resiliency and contributed to higher uptime for downstream services through targeted API development efforts.
