During August 2025, Michael Norris focused on improving the chipsalliance/caliptra-rtl repository by addressing a critical issue in the Pipeline Build Metadata Tracking process. He implemented a Shell-based automation that refreshed pr_hash and pr_timestamp after each successful pipeline run, ensuring that build artifacts were accurately tracked and reproducible. Leveraging his skills in CI/CD and automation, Michael validated the changes by stamping daily Microsoft pipeline runs with updated metadata, which reduced the risk of downstream mis-tracking.
