Worked on gristlabs/grist-core to deliver Polish localization and accessibility improvements, focusing on enhancing the user experience for Polish-speaking users. Leveraged front end development skills and internationalization best practices to complete server string translations using JSON and integrated Weblate for ongoing client translation updates. Advanced the coverage of Polish client translations, reaching nearly half of the application’s UI, and implemented accessibility enhancements to ensure usability across localized components. The work addressed both technical and business needs by making the application more accessible and inclusive, while establishing a workflow for continuous localization updates and supporting broader internationalization efforts within the project.
