Worked on lhr-solar/Embedded-Sharepoint to deliver five new features over two months, focusing on automotive embedded systems and CAN protocol integration. Developed and integrated CAN database (.dbc) files to enable reliable communication between WaveSculptor22 and TPEE MPPT controllers, and reorganized data resources for streamlined hardware integration. Enhanced battery management and vehicle control systems by implementing robust fault detection, improving VCU state signaling, and refining MPPT control logic. Utilized C and Python to strengthen diagnostic coverage for lighting and braking systems, while introducing CAN tooling and maintenance scripts to improve codebase maintainability and accelerate onboarding for future controller integrations.
April 2026 delivered critical improvements to battery management, vehicle control, fault detection, and CAN tooling, with a clear focus on reliability, safety, and maintainability. Key outcomes include robust fault detection across BMS, VCU state signaling enhancements, improved MPPT control, expanded fault signaling for lighting and braking, and streamlined CAN tooling and organization to reduce maintenance overhead and accelerate integration with charger interfaces.
