Worked on the SanteonNL/orca repository to deliver secure, authenticated access to FHIR APIs by integrating Azure Identity-based authentication and centralizing authorization logic into reusable utilities. Leveraged TypeScript and Go to ensure that production and demo environments use conditional Bearer tokens and default to Azure credentials for all non-local FHIR calls, while maintaining a seamless experience for local development. Refactored the build process to align authentication behavior across CI and production, reducing configuration drift and streamlining future enhancements. Enhanced the service layer to serialize and pass FHIR configuration, enabling secure, end-to-end communication and safer demonstration of FHIR data flows.
Month 2025-10: Delivered a secure, authenticated FHIR client in the demo environment for the SanteonNL/orca project. Updated the service layer to serialize and pass FHIR configuration, enabling secure, authenticated communications with the FHIR server. These changes improve security, demonstration reliability, and readiness for production data flows.
