Worked on the RetroAchievements/RAWeb repository to deliver comprehensive Russian localization enhancements, focusing on complete ru_RU translations and refining grammar, spelling, and plural forms for locale accuracy. Leveraged skills in internationalization and localization, utilizing JavaScript and JSON to integrate the new language support directly into the frontend and UI components. The approach involved two targeted commits that established a robust foundation for multilingual support, improving accessibility and user experience for Russian-speaking users. This work addressed the need for accurate and culturally appropriate translations, enabling broader market reach and ensuring the platform is better prepared for future internationalization efforts.
