Worked on enhancing lighting functionality within the arendst/Tasmota repository by focusing on the Matter plugin, specifically targeting improved compatibility and stability for Matter-enabled lighting devices. Addressed integration issues by adding a FeatureMap to Light 1, ensuring Light 2 included all required attributes, and correcting attribute datatypes for Light 3. These targeted changes improved cross-device interoperability and reduced downstream integration problems for users. The work was implemented using C programming, leveraging expertise in IoT development and embedded systems to deliver robust lighting control. The depth of the contribution lay in careful attribute management and adherence to Matter framework requirements.
