Worked on release readiness and development cycle setup for the kafka-connect-storage-common repository, focusing on establishing a stable baseline for customers and supporting ongoing development. Leveraged Java and Maven to bump the project version to 10.0.27, updating release configurations to ensure integrity and reliability. Implemented development versioning within the POM, enabling seamless transition to next-iteration work without disrupting the stable release. Utilized build automation and release management best practices, including the Maven Release Plugin, to streamline the release process. The work provided a foundation for future enhancements while maintaining a clear separation between released and in-progress development versions.
